What is a Fanlisting?

A fanlisting is a web clique for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, characters, etc. to come together to create a large listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject, which in this case is Bakura Ryou from Yu-Gi-Oh! Why Yami no Malik & Bakura Ryou?

Well perhaps one reason is because these two characters are two of my favorite 4 most fav. bishonens. Though I'd say they make an interesting pair, one evil psychotic personality and one innocent teen = a tainted angel. Of course this relationship doesn't have to be shounen-ai or yaoi if you don't want it to be, it is after all completely fanon based. Even though it is completely fanon based, as I beleive they never even meet face to face in the anime, I am a good fan of it. This interest of mine is credited to the lovely fanfiction authoress Bishojo Shadow, who wrote a very enticing story titled Regret.

Why the title "Tainted Love"?

Well as stated on the above answer, one evil psychotic personality and one innocent teen = one tainted angel. If Yami no Malik can influence Ryou, then surely Ryou's kindness can give some effect and therefore "Tainted Love". I'm not saying you have to agree with my terminology, you may interpret it as you wish. Besides, I don't have a better title, I used that up on my Bakura Ryou fanlisting. ^_^

Who is Bakura Ryou?

Bakura Ryou, a student at Domino High, is one of the friends of the main character, Mutou Yuugi from the anime Yuugiou (Yu-Gi-Oh!). His appearance makes him look pretty innocent, and even looks somewhat feminine with his beautiful white hair and brown eyes. However, he is not who he seems to be.

Ever since his father gave him the sennen ring as s gift from Egypt, strange things happen to him such as not being able to remember some things. That is due to sennen ring, which contains the evil spirit of a 3000 year old tomb-robber from Egypt, known as Yami no Bakura. Ryou is hardly ever present in the show, since the spirit takes control of him quite often than not.

Who is Yami no Malik?

Yami no Malik (Mariku) is otherwise known as the darker personality of Ishtar Malik (Marik) who is evil and pyschotic. He was born from Malik's anger and hatred when the boy was about 10 or 12, technically making him about 4-6 years old in a teen's body. He is bent on beating the pharaoh (aka Yami no Yuugi) and obtaining the sennen puzzle along with the three Egyptian god cards in order to take over the world (or rather destroy it I believe).
